ASAP-Bio invites applications for six fully funded Master's scholarships in Animal Science at Aarhus University, Denmark, starting in 2027. Scholarships are open to candidates from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda who wish to pursue advanced training in integrated, sustainable animal production systems.
MSc in Animal Science, taught entirely in English, launching at Aarhus University in 2027.
Choose two or three from: Animal behaviour and welfare, Animal nutrition, Animal care and management, Animal breeding and genetics.
Two years (full MSc programme, including empirical thesis 40–60 ECTS).
Six fully funded scholarships for the 2027 intake.
Candidates from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda with a relevant Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or Agriculture with a substantial animal production component.

The ASAP-Bio scholarship is designed to cover the costs of studying at Aarhus University, including tuition and support towards travel, living costs, and insurance for the study period. Exact terms will be confirmed to shortlisted candidates in the scholarship agreement.

Shortlisted candidates submit a formal application to Aarhus University through the official admissions system. The application window opens in December 2026.

Note: being shortlisted at Step 1 does not guarantee an admission offer. Final admission decisions rest with AU Admissions, which applies the same standards to all applicants.
You must have completed a Bachelor's degree in a qualifying field by the January 2027 AU application deadline. Qualifying degrees include:
All degrees must be from an accredited university and contain substantial coursework in subject areas related to animal science.
Previous Master's degrees: Candidates who have previously been enrolled in and completed a Master's degree in any field are not eligible to apply. By submitting an application, candidates declare that they have not completed master's level education in any field. The ASAP-Bio screening team will cross-check publicly available information on this for shortlisted candidates, and those who fail this verification will be disqualified.
Your Bachelor's programme should contain substantial coursework (equivalent to at least 60 ECTS) across several of these areas:
You do not need to convert your credits to ECTS. AU Admissions will assess subject-area equivalence individually.
The MSc Animal Science is taught entirely in English.
Language test support: If shortlisted after Step 1, ASAP-Bio will either reimburse your test fees (if already passed) or provide financial support for one test attempt.
